Tyra Stowe graduated from the University of Michigan Flint in 2020 with her BBA. Tyra works at the Genesee Intermediate School District as their Talent Acquisition Specialist and has been with them for 3 years. Working directly in the Human Resources department, she is responsible for creating a welcoming experience for all new hire orientations and onboardings, generating overall candidate flow for open positions, and represents the district within the Genesee County community to create candidate pipelines for new hires, interns, and fieldwork placements. As an HR professional Tyra has a passion for people, and is dedicated to helping them throughout their entire career. She hopes to continue being a positive mentor and ally to others during their professional career.
