Day to Day job Responsibilities Include:
- Operating vehicles and other assigned equipment in a safe and responsible manner.
- Making a daily check of vehicle per DOT standards and completing proper paperwork for the inspection. Assist in loading and unloading materials in a proper safe and careful manner at the plant or outlying store/ADC locations.
- Placement of materials when unloading into designated container and/or department.
- Maintaining and use of assigned cellular phones according to company guidelines (reporting to dispatcher/supervisor).
- Reporting all unsafe conditions observed.
- Greeting all donors in a friendly, courteous manner and provide receipts as needed.
- Following route in designated order and reporting of any changes due to unforeseen circumstances.
