Description
Understanding Solicitations and Preparing Proposals (USPP) is a seven (7) hour workshop designed to help the prospective Government contractor to be more competitive, and position themselves to win a federal contract.
In the workshop, the participant will gain a greater understanding of a their competitive advantage, learn how to read and comprehend a government solicitation, and be able to frame this into a proposal worthy of submission.
USPP workshop includes exercises and opportunities for attendee participation.
The workshop is presented by Dr. James N. Phillips Jr., a former Contracting Officer with the Department of Veterans Affairs and the Department of Defense and he has over 25+ years of experience in contracting. He is the author of over 30 articles and has authored two books on contracting, one of which is the USPP workshop.
