The program is provided at no cost through funding from the Michigan Economic Development Corporation in partnership with the Edward Lowe Foundation. SSGS is designed for companies that
- Are privately held, for-profit entities
- Employ between 10 and 99 full-time equivalent employees
- Generate annual revenue between $1 million -$50 million
- Provide products or services beyond the local area to regional, national or global markets
- Demonstrate growth in employment and/or revenue during two of the past five years
