• The Work Share Program is the smart alternative to employee layoffs, or can be a great option for employers who need to bring back laid-off workers at a reduced capacity.
• Workshare is designed to help employers faced with a short-term reduction in available work.
• Rather than laying off employees, Work Share allows an employer to divide the available work among a specified group(s) of affected employees, or allows a company to reengage their workforce and ramp up their business on a schedule that works for them.
• Workers receive a portion of their unemployment benefits while working reduced hours.
