Description
Stockton House was constructed in 1872 by Thomas and Maria Stockton. In 1920, the grandson of Thomas and Maria sold the property to the Archdiocese of Detroit for the establishment of a hospital, to be operated by the Sisters of St. Joseph. Then, in 2002, the house was purchased by the For Flint Investments. It was renovated in 2005 and designated as a Michigan Historical Site and State Historical Marker.
