Ribbon Cutting and Grand Opening Universal EMS

Universal EMS (UEMS) will be having a Grand Opening and Ribbon Cutting on on Oct. 16. The Grand Opening of their new facility in Flint fire station #6 on east Pierson Road near Dupont St. UEMS will be expanding services inside the city of Flint and plan to hire approx. 50 additional medical personnel. UEMS will begin handing out applications on Friday at the opening. The public open house will run from 12-2 p.m. with the Ribbon-Cutting scheduled for 1 p.m. Flint Mayor Dayne Walling, Fire Chief David Cox, Flint City Council members and others guests will be present at the unveiling.
