•  Requires no acting in front of others
• Allows participants to role play the lives of a family living in poverty trying to survive from week to week
• Asks:  Do you think YOU can maneuver through this simulated society and obtain the resources your family needs to survive a month in poverty?
• Provides real life stories of volunteers who have lived or worked closely with individuals living in poverty
• Offers resources and information how to make a difference to those living in poverty
• This workshop provides insight into what many people face in Genesee County while living in poverty
