The message below from the MNPP leadership committee provides some context for the decision to postpone this meeting by one week:
Dear Mid-Michigan Nonprofit Professional Friends,
Our hearts are heavy as we share in the community-wide grief over this past weekend's horrific events. We know that many of you have shifted your priorities this week, providing support to the victims and their families, as well as assisting first responders and others who have been called to address this moment. We are grateful to you for that, and all of us are still trying to make sense of what happened.
With that in mind, the MMNP leadership committee has decided to postpone our meeting, originally scheduled for this Thursday, by one week.
Please note that our next meeting now will take place on Thursday, Oct. 9, 8:30-10 a.m., at the ELGA Credit Union Headquarters.
If you have already registered for this month's gathering, that will carry over and you do not need to re-register. If you have not yet registered for this event, you can do so here:
This free bi-monthly gathering of nonprofit professionals will feature the opportunity to share some of the literature and promotional items you use to create awareness about your mission and service. You'll also come away with great ideas from others.
