Description
Two sisters from Kalamazoo, Michigan join two cousins from Flint, Michigan to compete in a talent show at Western Michigan University. They go on to become one of Motown's longest lasting girl group acts. The Velvelettes rose to the pinnacle of fame in the early 1960's, but decided to put family first. They eventually reunited.
