Description

A Mass Transportation Authority (MTA) Flint public townhall meeting will take place Thursday, January 16, 2025 from 6-7:30 p.m. at Community First, Inc.'s The Grand on University, 422 W. University Ave., Flint, MI 48503. The purpose of the meeting is to hear public comments on a 2024 study of MTA's primary route system. MTA is excited to share the results of the 2024 study and they want the public to be part of this townhall forum to inform, react, reflect, and discuss. MTA will show attendees what planners saw on the ground, what was heard from riders, residents, and drivers, and what the best options could be for the future of the transit system. The community's input has been a part of this process since the beginning and people are encouraged to attend the townhall to continue the conversation. The event is being co-hosted by Communities First, Inc. and Carriage Town Historic Neighborhood Association.
