Treat Mom to a special day by celebrating Mother’s Day at Applewood! Spend the day in the beautiful Applewood gardens with a free carnation and photo opportunity! Strolling tours of the first floor of the house will be available from 11:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., and beautiful gardens. A walking garden tour begins at 12 p.m. Also, enjoy a Taste of Applewood during your visit — all made with ingredients grown at Applewood. Applewood Estate is the historic home of automotive pioneer Charles Stewart Mott, a founding partner of General Motors.
