Description
Making Strides Against Breast Cancer is the nation’s largest and most impactful breast cancer movement working tirelessly to end breast cancer as we know it. In the last 30 years alone, ACS has invested more than $600 million in breast cancer research and over $5 billion in research for all cancer types since 1946.
Making Strides of Flint is the premier breast cancer walk in the area. Our 2024 event welcomed more than 3,500 people from all over Mid-Michigan. Please register for the event for free on our website and form a team with your family, friends, or coworkers. Fundraising is encouraged and greatly appreciated as 100% of net proceeds will be invested in breast cancer research and patient services. Currently, ACS is funding $3 million in cancer research in Flint at MSU in downtown!
Our walk begins at 10am and is a 3 mile noncompetitive walk through downtown Flint to celebrate and honor those who have been impacted by breast cancer. There are a variety of ways get involved with our event. Please visit our website or reach out for more information!
