Insight is pleased to announce an 18-bed expansion at the Healing Center’s Flint, Michigan location, including the addition of six vent beds that will provide state-of-the-art care for patients in need of ventilator support. 

“As one of the leading providers of comprehensive inpatient rehabilitation therapy in the region, the addition of six vent beds is a significant investment for Insight that will allow us to better meet the needs of our patients and provide the highest levels of care for our community,” says Nancy Petzold, Insight’s Director of Case Management and Nursing Services.

Patients at the Healing Center have their own private room and a shared bathroom in a home-like atmosphere so they can be comfortable while recovering. The portable vents allow them to be out of bed, participate in special activities, and have the best quality of life possible. A respiratory therapist is available around the clock to assist these patients, along with nursing and direct care staff, to ensure they are always receiving the right care for their needs. Patients also receive intense physical, occupational, and speech therapy to help them improve their overall condition. 

The public is invited to see the expansion and tour the Healing Center during a community open house at our Flint Medical Campus Wednesday, May 3, 2023 from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. Light refreshments will be served and guests will be able to meet our team, ask questions, and learn more about our services.
