This workshop is for business professionals who realize LinkedIn’s importance but need some hands-on help to properly utilize it to build their professional network online. With a bit lecture and a lot of hands-on learning, participants will get a good understanding of the basics of LinkedIn, and will have time and assistance in setting up the following foundational elements, including:

• Setting up or revamping your professional profile
• Adding personal connections
• Following companies and joining groups of interest

In addition, participants will leave knowing what they can do on a daily and weekly basis to get the most benefit out of LinkedIn. Reserve your spot today as seating is limited! *All participants are required to bring a laptop computer (a tablet will work if you don’t have a laptop) that can be connected to a wireless network.  Participants without a current LinkedIn profile will need an active email address to get started, and are encouraged to have an electronic copy of their resume (or similar information) and digital photo to be used when setting up your profile.
