Description
Make the jump into hyperspace this Independence Day with an exciting night of fun and music as the Flint Institute of Music hosts its first 4th of July celebration. Experience a galaxy far, far away with the Flint Symphony Orchestra as they present the music of Star Wars, along with a selection of patriotic favorites. Special guest – Flint native, and American Idol finalist, La Kisha Jones, will perform the national anthem. The musical padawans of the Flint Youth Symphony Orchestra with guest musicians from Limonest, France will open the show. The concert will conclude with a dazzling fireworks display, presented by the Flint Downtown Development Authority.
