Accredited through the Tourism Ambassador Institute® and administered at the local level, the Certified Tourism AmbassadorTM (CTA) Program is an industry-recognized certification that serves to increase tourism by inspiring employees, especially in the hospitality industry, businesses, stakeholders, volunteers, and residents to turn every encounter into a positive experience. It's the only program in existence today that gives an official designation (John Sample, CTA) to individuals - from Mayors, to General Managers, to Drivers, to Waiters - people who care about their destination.

With over 60,000+ current CTAs and its locally-customized curriculum, the Program teaches and ensures that everyone understands their role in increasing tourism.
