Description
Travel back to a time when things were a whole lot simpler. Crossroads Village is a Great Lakes town from the turn of the century with 34 historic structures and a thriving community. Enjoy a 40-minute journey on an authentic Baldwin Steam locomotive, the Huckleberry Railroad, take a scenic ride on the Genesee Belle, a replica of the paddlewheel riverboats that were popular during Mark Twain's time, catch a show at the Colwell Opera House or learn a trade from one of the village's craftspeople. This weekend, meet the village artisans and learn how they create their one-of-a-kind handmade items and try your hands at several different artisan crafts such as basket weaving, broom making and print shop printing. It is recommended that Huckleberry Railroad train tickets by purchased in advance as the train often sells out.
