General Motors Co. Executive Vice President of Global Manufacturing Gerald Johnson will share insight on how GM successfully pivoted from manufacturing vehicles to critical care ventilators in only 30 days and masks in days versus months typical of most projects. Johnson will discuss the company’s plans and safety protocols in place to ensure a safe return to automotive manufacturing and how GM's work throughout the pandemic has prepared the company for restart. Johnson will engage in a one-on-one discussion with Sandy K. Baruah, president and CEO of the Detroit Regional Chamber. Participants will have the option to submit questions to Baruah during the discussion.
