Finding loyal, competent employees continues to be a challenge for so many employers in our area, and is an issue we have been working to address in recent years. October's Flint & Genesee Chamber Luncheon will be focused on how people with disabilities have been - and can be - a major remedy to many employers' workforce woes. The Chamber is a key member of a community-wide working group focused on creating opportunities for people with disabilities, that includes various organizations, like the Genesee Intermediate School District, and employers. You'll hear experiences and gain ideas from a panel of people who have seen major win-win scenarios come from pairing people with disabilities with the right employer. Whether or not you are in charge of finding staff for your company, you won't want to miss this insightful Luncheon.
