Challenge By Choice: Flint and Genese...
Description
Flint and Genesee County youth activity and service providers are invited to an engaging, impactful, and positive community event that will encourage participants to:
- Learn more about strengths and gaps in youth activities and services
- Build relationships with other providers and resources
- Identify resources you possess or need for your organization
- Plan strategically to better fill service gaps across organizations
- Foster a culture of collaboration and unity across the county
Participants will :
- Exchange contact information and schedule a follow-up meeting with at least one new potential partner
- Collaboratively brainstorm at least one possible solution to barriers identified through data collected
- Identify potential non-monetary resources their organizations could offer a potential partner AND they could benefit from
- Identify an individual and/or organization to communicate follow-up engagement and meetings to interested participants beyond the Challenge By Choice event. AND, agree on a date by which to communicate follow-up interaction
- Offer and receive at least one affirmation to a new acquaintance.
