Description

FREE Family Event taking place July 19 and 20 at Frankenmuth River Place Shops! Experience an encampment of historical reenactors representing the many eras of America’s history. Visit and tour military camps ranging from the French & Indian War through the Revolutionary War, and shop at historical vendors. Experience activities including:

– Flag raising ceremonies
– Fashion show
– Period concerts
– Battle skirmishes
– Revolutionary War Cannons Artillery & Weapons Demonstrations

Ongoing daily camp life and guard duty in the River Place Shops and Period encampments. The tent camps will be spread throughout the east side of Frankenmuth River Place Shops and the Covered Bridge grounds.

Saturday:
9:50 a.m. – Troops March from Camp to Fest Platz
10:00 a.m. – Troop Colours (Fest Platz)
11:00 a.m. – Tactical, French & Indian War (Hill tactical area)
11:45 a.m. – Meet Dr. Benjamin Franklin (Festival Platz Stage)
12:30 p.m. – Fife & Drum Concert (Festival Platz Stage)
1:00 p.m. – Drill / Musket Firing, French & Indian War (Hill Tactical area)
2:00 p.m. – Revolutionary War Fashion Show (Festival Platz Stage)
2:30 p.m. – Knife & Hawk Throw, Voyagers (Festival Platz)
3:00 p.m. – Tactical Revolutionary War (Hill Tactical Area)
4:30 p.m. – Drum & Fife Concert (Festival Platz Stage)
6:00 p.m. – Camp Closed for the Day

Sunday:
9:30 a.m. – Drill and inspection or Church call (Camp areas)
10:05 a.m. – March from camp to Festival Platz
10:15 a.m. – Flag Trooping (Festival Platz)
11:15 a.m. – Meet Dr. Benjamin Franklin (Festival Platz)
11:45 a.m. – Tactical Battle – Revolutionary War (Covered Bridge)
12:30 p.m. – Drum & Fife Concert (Festival Platz Stage)
1:00 p.m. – Drill / Musket Firing, Revolutionary War (Hill Tactical Area)
1:30 p.m. – Drum & Fife Concert (Festival Platz Stage)
