American Advantage Home Care, a 24/7 full-service home health care agency, invites the public to the ribbon-cutting and open house for its Flint office. There will be refreshments and giveaways. The new Flint office supports clinicians serving patients throughout the agency’s nine-county service territory, especially in the recently added counties of Shiawassee, Genesee, Lapeer and eastern Livingston. It is the first administrative hub for the seven-year-old agency outside of its Dearborn headquarters. American Advantage works to help patients maintain independence by providing compassionate, high quality care in the comfort of wherever they call home. Services include physical, occupational and speech therapy, skilled nursing, home health aide assistance and medical social work as well as help in coordinating resources. The agency is accredited by The Joint Commission – the gold standard and industry benchmark for quality and safety – and is ranked above average (4 stars) on the Medicare Quality of Patient Care Star Rating. Owners are the husband-and-wife team of Cleamon Moorer, Jr. DBA and Nicole Willis-Moorer, of Grand Blanc.
