Description

Steel Transportation Services, Inc. proudly presents ProActive Response Group's active shooter response training. This Saturday October 14th! Two sessions to choose from! 8am-12pm and 1pm-4pm. Sign up using the EventBrite Link.

During the Active Shooter Training classes, ProActive will conduct training for any and all of your team members. Attendees will be taught how to recognize the sights and sounds that signal a potential threat, what actions to take to increase the likelihood of survival, and how to act as their own first responders until law enforcement and EMTs arrive.

The class will then receive hands-on Emergency Medical Training on applying tourniquets and packing wounds using lifelike medical trainers. The hands-on portion of the course is designed to impart a sense of muscle memory so that if your employees are faced with serious injuries at the workplace, they will be prepared to utilize these techniques and potentially save lives. In the event of a life-threatening emergency, you may need to act as your own first responder.

ProActive has designed their raining to be hands-on, team-building, engaging, empowering, and applicable to situations outside acts of violence. Nothing they do is designed to scare anyone. In fact, their experience in law enforcement and emergency medical response has led them to believe that no Active Shooter Training class is truly effective unless those who attend can leave feeling more confident and determined in their ability to survive and act effectively during an incidence of violence than they did before they came.
